Anneke Franken graduated in 2004 in corporate law at the University of Amsterdam, and obtained her Masters in Information law cum laude in 2006. Anneke studied a semester at the Columbia University in New York, and has worked after completing her studies for a year as legal researcher at the Institute for Information Law. Anneke has been a lawyer (advocaat) since 2006, and has worked as an associate at Brinkhof Advocaten in Amsterdam, where she developed her knowledge and experience in regulatory, administrative law and European administrative law. In April 2010 Anneke has started her work at Gijs Heutink Advocaten. She will further develop and apply her skills and experience in administrative law, administrative litigation and European administrative law, project development, retail and enforcement.

Anneke is a member of the Dutch association of administrative law (VAR Vereniging voor Bestuursrecht) and the Dutch association of construction law (VBR).
