As consultant, Johan helped Gijs start the new practice in 2005, and has been responsible for the finance department since that that time. Johan and Gijs already knew each other from their time at the Amsterdam-based practice of Ekelmans Den Hollander (EDH), where they worked together over a period of many years, as well as when Johan was general office manager at EDH and Gijs sat on the board. Johan has many years experience, and his know-how as controller and financial consultant, both in the legal and non-legal worlds, are indispensable to the practice.
