Fikriye Güner studied Dutch Law at the University of Amsterdam, where she graduated in 2002. Fikriye started out her career as lecturer (in administrative law, obligations law and property law) at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam. There she coordinated the promotion of students from the University of Applied Sciences to the Law Faculty of the University of Amsterdam and worked as careers advisor. In 2007, Fikriye took the decision to move into law practice and has been working as solicitor at Gijs Heutink Advocaten since October 2007, where she continues to develop her expertise in the area of real-estate and property law, administrative law and procedural law.

Fikriye is a member of the Dutch Society of Construction Law (VBR) and the VAR Society for Administrative Law.
